The latest collaboration is with the Chinese gigantic Alipay with over 500 million active users. The first mobile payment at 10.000 meters was successfully made by ePassi Alipay in the spring of 2017 during an international Finnair flight.

As Chinese cards do not function in Europe, tourist struggle with having to carry cash with them. ePassi functions as a gateway for Chinese tourists, enabling them to make mobile payments easily and more importantly, securely.
