Länsimäen kirjasto on viihtyisä monikulttuurinen kirjasto, joka toimii osana pääkaupunkiseudun kirjastoverkkoa. Se on monipuolinen kulttuurin, sivistyksen ja elämysten keskus, ja samalla opetuksen, oppimisen ja tutkimuksen tärkeä tuki. Kirjastoon on vapaa pääsy ja se on kaikille maksuton.

Monipuolisilla kokoelmillaan ja palveluillaan kirjasto tukee kaikenikäisten ihmisten yhtäläisiä oikeuksia ja mahdollisuuksia elinikäiseen oppimiseen ja virkistäytymiseen.

This is a cozy multicultural Library which operates as part of the Library Network in capital area. It’s a centre of social information, knowledge and culture, and important seat of work, study and training.

The access is free for everyone, the book collection is diverse and constantly being enriched and updated. We provide high-quality services for different types of readers. Our collection includes books in Russian, English, Swedish, Chinese, Kurdish, Albanian, Vietnamese, Arabian etc. When necessary, readers can receive help and advice in English, Russian, Swedish, German, French, Greek and even some Slavic languages.

One of our main goals is to support every readers rights and to provide conditions that help the process of life-long learning and development.
